  • Participants will be able to:
      • Define behavior and the basic functions of behavior
      • Define low-intensity behavior strategies and describe when they should be used
      • Identify the fundamentals of low-intensity behavior strategies
      • Identify and apply behavior strategies that are likely to address access as a function of low-intensity behavior
      • Identify and apply behavior strategies that are likely to address avoidance as a function of low-intensity behavior
      • Describe implementation goals for low-intensity behavior strategies and identify resources that support implementation
  • In order to:
    • Support student engagement and positive behavior through quick, calm, and instructional responses that prevent escalation and maintain instructional flow.
