Shanna Hirsch, PhD, BCBA-D, is an Associate Professor of Special Education at the University of Maryland. Shanna is a dedicated teacher, passionate mentor, and rigorous researcher. Improving the behavioral outcomes of students with disabilities is the driving force behind her research agenda. She has developed and tested innovative interventions that have had positive effects on countless teachers and their students. Dr. Hirsch has published more than 70 peer-reviewed articles and seven book chapters.
