Strategy Sheets for Acknowledgements

This flyer highlights how acknowledgements and behavior-specific praise support positive classroom behavior and strengthen effective classroom management. Participants will learn to define acknowledgements and behavior-specific praise, understand the benefits of using acknowledgements to manage behavior, and develop a plan to apply behavior-specific praise to address specific student behaviors. Behavior-specific praise acknowledges a desired behavior and clearly communicates what the student(s) did well.
