These slides highlights strategies for increasing student engagement through verbal and nonverbal opportunities to respond. Participants will learn to name and define multiple ways to actively engage students, understand the benefits of using frequent opportunities to respond, and develop a plan to apply these practices to prevent and manage specific student behaviors.
