Course Objectives
- Participants will be able to:
- Describe the purpose of a classroom teaching matrix
- Define and identify behavior norms for classroom routines that align with school-wide behavior norms
- Define and list corresponding, contextually relevant behavior skills for each behavior norm and routine
- Describe how the norms, skills, and routines in the classroom matrix will be taught and reinforced in the classroom
- In order to:
- Create a classroom matrix with regular routines listed to explicitly teach, acknowledge, and redirect student behavior
