Course Objectives

  • Participants will be able to:
    • Define behavior
    • Identify functions of common behaviors
    • Define replacement behaviors
    • Describe why replacement behaviors should be matched to the function of a contextually inappropriate behavior
    • Define multi-tiered systems of support for behavior (MTSS-B)
    • Describe how MTSS-B is used to support all students
    • Outline components of South Carolina’s MTSS framework
