SC TEAMS Summer University spans 3 days and includes team-based, expert-lead professional learning on evidence-based practices that promote success for all students! Participants from schools and districts across our state can expect high-quality professional learning sessions to address the learning and behavioral needs of students with disabilities and students who struggle with learning both in general and special education with the installation and implementation of high-leverage practices.

Cohort 1 District Behavior Coordinator (DBC) Convening

This closed session for district partners only is a continuation of our professional learning for BASC District Behavior Coordinators. As we enter into the third phase of our partnership work, our session will prioritize rolling out Tier 1 from the beginning of the year, using data to problem-solve (fidelity & outcome), ECHO supports for SY 25/26, and district-level coaches meetings/supports.
Cohort 2 District Behavior Coordinator (DBC) Convening

This closed session for district partners only is a continuation of our professional learning for BASC District Behavior Coordinators. This session is designed to prepare for the upcoming phase 2 work for SY 25/26 for our partnership. We will prioritize the school readiness process, self-assessment survey completion rates, logistics, content, and the DBC role before, during, and after professional learning days.

This closed session for district partners only is a continuation of our professional learning for BASC District Behavior Coordinators. For the first time ever, we will gather DBCs from both cohorts to have a day full of getting to know each other, sharing tips/tricks & best practices, state-level data dashboards & procedures within districts, and District Leadership Team meetings.
Building, Supporting, and Implementing Behavior Systems & Practices

In this session, participants will review BASC’s available resources, the suggested cycle for implementing district and/or school supports for behavior systems work, and best practices/guidelines for supporting educators, students, and families with behavior.
