Behavior Alliance District Behavior Coordinator Convening

This closed session for district partners only is a continuation of our professional learning for BASC District Behavior Coordinators. During this session, we will be discussing in depth the training and coaching process, the year coming up, and make plans to ensure implementation fidelity and implementation cycles are at the forefront of our work together.
Inclusive Behavior Classrooms/Specialized Classrooms

This session is designed for district- or school-level personnel who participate on teams designed to facilitate the installation, implementation, and sustainment of Tier III systems within specialized classroom for students that exhibit significant social-emotional and behavioral needs.
Supporting New Educators in Implementing A Classroom Behavior System

This session is designed specifically for new school based staff with less than three years of experience or anyone who actively supports new staff in their roles. The session will be focused on designing a classroom behavior system, which is focused on the implementation of evidence-based classroom practices to promote positive, prosocial behavior that facilitates a sense of belonging for all in a classroom.

The session will prioritize a collective, community-built model for evidence-based behavior systems, practices, and data with a particular focus on responding to chronic, low-intensity behavior through installing Function-Based Thinking.

School Safety Trends: Key Strategies for Prevention and Intervention

The Behavior Alliance of South Carolina is excited to bring to you the National Threat Assessment Center’s school violence trends and prevention training. Participants will learn about the trends across school violence instances that have happened in the past and be taught NTAC’s eight key strategies to strengthening reporting and ensuring a systematic way of implementing threat assessment processes in schools and districts.
