Who We Are

We are a technical assistance organization based within Clemson University, funded by the South Carolina Department of Education.

As one of the newest technical assistance centers in the state, we are working hard on internal operations and liaising with the state in service of districts, schools, staff, students, and families across South Carolina.

Our Affiliations

We are based within Clemson University’s College of Education. We feel strongly that in order to fulfill Clemson University’s land grant mission, it is critical to support schools across the entire state of South Carolina.

We are a member of SC TEAMS, a South Carolina Department of Education state-wide initiative, which brings together all four technical assistance organizations for collaboration.

Our Goals

  • BASC Operating Procedures: Develop BASC internal infrastructure, procedures, systems, database, and non-database for tracking implementation and outcomes.
  • Professional Learning Systems: Develop a continuum of professional learning content for district partners and the public.
  • District Partnerships: Develop and support partnerships with districts through the installation of systems, practices, and data protocols with coaching to implement with high levels of fidelity.
  • Intensive Support Districts: Support identified districts with enhanced problem-solving, teaming and coaching.
  • Increase Capacity: Procure diversified resources & collaborations to expand and enhance service & support.
